<aside> 💡 A diary study is a research method in which participants self-report data over a defined period of time. The participants complete diary entries based on prompts provided by the researcher which seek to understand the context of how the product fits into the users’ lives. Diary entries are not completed in a lab or formal settings with a researcher, rather, they aim to be completed by intercepting moments in the participant’s day-to-day.
